Discovering. Learning.

Playing. Growing.

A Legacy of Learning for over 59 years!

Our History:

Congregational Preschool celebrated its 60th Birthday this school year! In 1962 the school opened its doors in the very same location as it is today in La Crosse, WI.  Much has changed, but we still hold the same values of education and child development as we did in 1962. Today we offer non-denominational preschool programs for children aging 2 ½ to 5 with the flexibility of both morning and afternoon classes, embracing small class sizes and a unique hands-on approach. We also offer before and after school care.  Families enjoy a family-style atmosphere, with each teacher holding a Bachelor’s degree in education and years of experience.  Congregational Preschool gives a unique first introduction to the school experience and fosters a love for learning in each child.

Our Programs:

Classes and programs offered include morning and afternoon tuition-free 4K, and 3K programs that run Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings, or Tuesday Thursday mornings.  We also offer an afternoon 3K program on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are also offering two very unique classes:  A Monday through Friday Spanish Introduction Class for 3s and 4s and a program that has parent/guardian participation during semester one for those that are not quite 3 years old, but ready for school!  This is our very unique You and Me/Me on My Own program.  In the second semester, children get to attend preschool without their special adult. Lastly, we offer a program called Lunch Bunch where children share a meal along with their friends at Congregational Preschool.  After Lunch, the bunch is lead in structured play or art projects!

Before and After School Care:

We offer all daycare, covering both before school and after school hours to meet your family’s specific needs.  This program runs from 7:00am until 5:30pm.  Children enrolled in our care experience free play, art, science, outdoor learning, and a lot of other fun activities to enhance their learning experience and love for school.  Call 608.784.3640 or email for more information.
