Programs & Tuition
Classes: A variety of class options are offered for children 2 1/2 - 5 years. Class sizes are kept small (10 to 13 students per class) to ensure individual attention and create a positive first school experience for each child. Classes are held in both the morning and afternoon, with each session lasting 2 1/2 hours. The class options are as follows:
1) Children enrolling in either of the young three-year-old programs must be three by December 31st. 2) Children enrolling in the regular three-year-old program must be three by September 1st. 3) Children enrolling in the four/five-year-old program must be four by September 1st. 4) State law requires that "each child shall have an initial physical examination not more than twelve months before, nor later than three months after admission to the center." An immunization record is due within 30 days of school starting. 5) All children must be toilet-trained before they will be accepted. Children attending the fall session of the young three-year-old program need not be completely toilet-trained. Children attending the January session of the young three-year-olds will need to be toilet-trained. The Admission/Withdrawal Policy
will be given to parents at the time of registration. A registration fee of $60.00 is due at the time of registration or at any time of enrollment during the year. The fee is non-refundable and not applicable toward tuition. Only one fee is charged per family. Class tuition for the 2007-2008 school year is as follows:
Congregational Preschool reserves the right to cancel a class in the unlikely event of low enrollment. Every effort will be made to offer alternative times for attendance. ** Public School Program: As a participant in the Community Collaboration for 4 Year Olds, Congregational Preschool provides a four-year-old kindergarten class through state funding. This class is currently offered as part of the five afternoon per week class. There is no tuition or registration fee charged for students in this class who are residents of La Crosse or surrounding communities with similar program funding. Students from non-participating communities may enroll in the class at the above stated tuition rate.
